Arugam Bay
The surf in Arugam Bay is possibly the most well-known in Sri Lanka. When the beaches in the south-west are under the monsoon, it attracts surfers with its mellow right-hand reefs and point breaks.
Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is one of Sri Lanka’s top surfing sites, with a clear hot water base. Waves range in size from 4 to 11 feet high. Surfing in the Hikkaduwa region is well-known, and the greatest conditions are found during the dry season, which runs from November to March. In Hikkaduwa, there are four hotspots.
Sigiriya

Ella

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is not a zoo, but rather a larger and more intriguing institution. It serves as a breeding area for Asian elephants who have been left orphaned due to unforeseen events.

Polonnaruwa
Polonnaruwa is the second kingdom to be created on the island, and it is located in the Cultural Triangle. It was the administrative center until it succumbed to Chola invaders from India in the 14th century, when it was established as the capital in 1056 AD.

Yala
Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public.

Passikudah
Passikudah is a tiny beach community located 35 kilometers east of Batticaloa in Sri Lanka. It’s known for its golden bay and clean, shallow seas where you can wade out 50 meters.

Nuwara Eliya
The coolest place in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is a green community with a British accent in the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea heartland. Tea plants are beautifully groomed on almost every slope.

Kalpitiya
Kalpitiya is a group of 14 islands in Sri Lanka’s North Western Province that is known for its shoreline beauty. This location is frequently referred to as Sri Lanka’s tourist future.

Anuradhapura
Anuradhapura’s ruins are without a doubt the most evocative sights in South Asia. This enormous complex has an elaborate variety of architectural and archaeological wonders, including massive brick towers, decaying temples.
